Meaningful Work

The Administrative Assistant provides direct support to the GMLC clients and staff in their designated regions. This is completed in a broad variety of administrative tasks, such as managing clinic schedules; organizing clinic events; overseeing daily clinic operations; assisting the Clinic Director with various projects; hiring of entry level staff and placement of new hires on clients team.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s or Associates Degree preferred

A minimum 2 years of secretarial/business experience

Must be computer savvy and have working knowledge of the Windows platform

Excellent communication skills

Experience working with medical records

Fast-paced work ethic, task-oriented mindset

This is a full time position. Hours are 8-5

The Administrative Assistant must embrace and adhere to GMLC’s culture of Servant Leadership and enjoy working within a fast-paced environment that is results-driven, community-oriented, and grounded in a social mission. The ideal candidate will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, work independently on projects from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. Strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills are required, along with the ability to maintain a balance among multiple priorities.
