  • Set up and run experiments using standard laboratory electrochemical equipment to run both standard, and non-standard, test procedures
  • Conduct chemical analytical procedures to support the electrochemical tests being run in the lab.
  • Conducts analysis of R&D, production, and customer supplied separator samples by light microscope and electrochemical method to support failure analyses and other product assessments.
  • Properly document all laboratory testing.
  • Evaluate and improve both sample preparation methods and experimental procedures, and properly document any changes made.
  • Analyze data using basic statistical analysis and report analyzed data.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations explaining data-based findings
  • Support engineers and scientists by preparing the prototypes for experiments
  • Schedule and manage electrochemistry lab experiments
  • Prioritize necessary preparations for future experiments
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to collaborate and work with other team members when called upon.
  • Ensure electrochemistry lab is stocked and fully functional at all times; includes ordering materials to anticipate future demands
  • Order new chemicals and equipment for experiments
  • Keep Laboratory MSDS up to date
  • Associates Degree or BS Degree preferred in technical or chemistry related field
