Job Description:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The following duties are customary for this position, but are not to be construed as all-inclusive.  Duties may be added, deleted and assigned based on management discretion and institutional needs.

  • Is present at all class meetings
  • Properly operates IVS equipment
  • Arrives at assigned IVS classes 30 minutes before class time.
  • Has all IVS equipment operational by beginning of class
  • Troubleshoots IVS equipment problems with IVS helpdesk staff
  • Maintains IVS classrooms in clean and orderly arrangement
  • Assists professors with classroom assignments, distributing materials, accepting student work and sending it to correct location, proctoring exams.
  • Assists with office duties as assigned
  • Maintains security of IVS studio classroom


  • At least one year of college coursework
  • Must have good communication and customer service skills
  • Must have basic understanding of computers and video equipment
  • Proficient in e-mail and basic office programs
  • Familiarity with office equipment, particularly copiers, scanners and fax machines
  • A willingness to work evenings and weekends and possibly some day time hours.


Additional Information:

Hourly Rate:  $8.50
