All Hunter Douglas brand products are designed, developed and custom-crafted in the U.S. Due to a tremendous increase in sales, the Owensboro facility is adding the following:
Inventory Analyst WM
Responsible for all aspects of monitoring the accuracy of inventory. The Inventory Analyst understands inventory control objectives and possesses a vision of creating world-class procedures and practices in this area. The analyst establishes strategies to meet those objectives and achieve that vision. The analyst will demonstrate leadership skills through energetic initiative and follow through with inventory plan activation as needed. In addition, the analyst is responsible for developing, monitoring and managing procedures to conduct daily Cycle-Count work along with Annual Physical Inventory. The Inventory Analyst will promote, educate and encourage the development of work force skill sets.
General familiarity; aware of universal principles and able to locate details/access resources. Understanding of a determinate number of functions or activities.
Working knowledge; able to apply general principles. Understanding of most functions, operations or activities. Includes a general knowledge of applicable theory.
Able to apply general principles and specific details. Understanding of virtually all functions, operations or activities. Includes full comprehension of applicable theory.
A solid knowledge of principles and management involved in the organization’s inventory storage and shipping techniques.
A solid knowledge and understanding of all current warehousing processes.
Fully understand all movements in SAP WM
Able to evaluate results of cycle-counts and perform adjustments to inventory for all Shipping transactions in the facility; ensure compliance with required procedures for checking discrepancies.
Understanding on monitoring Warehouse Management transactions for all Material Movements
Act as primary “Support” person in conducting Physical Inventory’s.
Responsible for assuring accuracy of all reports: responsible for preparing presentations to both internal and external parties.
Able to participate in all practice modifications involving handling and accounting for inventory.
