TITLE: HR/Marketing Intern

DIVISION: Corporate


FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt (Hourly)

MISSION : To assist the Marketing and HR department in creating and maintaining a brand and presence in the online world in order to recruit new Team Members.


  • Standardize and update job descriptions for all active positions in the company.
  • Gather data pertaining to top 5 social media outlets viable to our industries.
  • Designs, develops and proposes advertising content as needed.
  • Works with Marketing Department to determine what standard message is to be and to create several variations for advertising purposes.
  • Work with HR and Marketing to determine promotional item options.
  • Coaches others in advertising methods on social media.
  • Support the HR Department with administrative tasks.
  • All other duties as assigned within scope of training.

EDUCATION: Must be in college working towards a Bachelor’s Degree or higher.

EXPERIENCE: Training in marketing not necessary, but is preferred.

COMMUNICATION: Ability to write and to speak effectively before large and small groups.

MATHEMATICS: Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra geometry.

REASONING AND PROBLEM SOLVING: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with issues involving concrete variables in standardized situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to contain complete confidentiality; Ability to carry out assigned projects to their completion with minimal supervision; Ability to work independently with a multitude of tasks; Ability to establish and maintain professional and effective working relationships with all levels in the organization.
