The PBSS provide direct and indirect behavior support services to children and adults in home and community environments. Behavior support services include completion of a Functional Assessment, development of a Positive Behavior Support Plan, and ongoing training/monitoring services.
Provide evidence-based, individualized interventions that asses a participant with acquisition or maintenance of skills for community living and behavioral intervention for the reduction of maladaptive behaviors
Provide a combination of direct and indirect in-home behavior support services
Complete a Functional Assessment based on direct assessment, direct observation, parent interview, data collection
Develop person-centered Positive Behavior Support Plan with evidence-based interventions, function-based replacement behaviors, and strategies supporting acquisition of age appropriate skills
Provide training, education, and technical support/assistance for team members to carry out recommendations
Develop clinical documentation supporting and justifying services rendered
Develop graphs and update assessments documenting and analyzing changes in behaviors and skills over time
Utilize 90% more more of units available per participate per month
Adhere to Positive Behavior Support Training Manual and CLiK Policies and Procedures Manual
Maintain professional licensure and continuing education requirements
Master’s Degree in a behavior science (Applied Behavior Analysis preferred)
Clinical certification or license preferred (BCBA preferred)
1 year experience implementing Behavior Plans/Programs
CPR and First Aid Certification
Willing to complete 6 hours of Crisis Prevention and Intervention training
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
