Summary

Plans, coordinates, and manages the Product Specification and Label approval functions for SFG to ensure quality production of products consistent with established standards and regulations by performing the following duties personally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain label approval for all products manufacture by or for SFG in accordance with USDA and company guidelines

Document and maintain the product specifications for all products

Communicate with all functional and operating groups on product specifications, labeling and compliance matters

Maintain sustainable process for verifying the accuracy of received product labeling materials in manufacturing facilities

Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards.

Ensure nutritional and labeling information is current and accurate

Education and/or Experience

College degree or 3 years work experience in data entry

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
