|This position will repair speed-monitoring equipment. The individual will apply diversified knowledge of electronics principles to evaluate technical input and perform problem-solving activities. This position will require frequent communication with MPH customers.
Troubleshoot and repair, to the component level, any speed detection equipment that is returned for service.
Assist in bench testing and road testing of all models of traffic radar.
Maintain written records of the equipments performance after being serviced.
Produce high quality work with a minimum of instruction and on the job training.
Act as a technical advisor to any customer or service center called MPH, Inc., requesting service information.
Work with quality control personnel and design engineers to develop quality products.
As required, advise and assist lower level personnel in technical matters.
Act as a training instructor, as needed, for technical training of speed monitoring equipment.
Remain well informed on state-of-the-art and new developments within the pertinent technical field through seminars or other training avenues.
Any other duty or responsibility as deemed necessary by the management staff of MPH.
QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree in Electronics or Equivalent experience. Analog and Digital Electronics experience. Strong verbal/interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills. Experience in troubleshooting/repair of microprocessors and semiconductors.
