This position will repair speed-monitoring equipment. The individual will apply diversified knowledge of electronics principles to evaluate technical input and perform problem-solving activities. This position will require frequent communication with MPH customers.

• Troubleshoot and repair, to the component level, any speed detection equipment that is returned for service.
• Assist in bench testing and road testing of all models of traffic radar.
• Maintain written records of the equipment’s performance after being serviced.
• Produce high quality work with a minimum of instruction and on the job training.
• Act as a technical advisor to any customer or service center called MPH, Inc., requesting service information.
• Work with quality control personnel and design engineers to develop quality products.
• As required, advise and assist lower level personnel in technical matters.
• Act as a training instructor, as needed, for technical training of speed monitoring equipment.
• Remain well informed on state-of-the-art and new developments within the pertinent technical field through seminars or other training avenues.
• Any other duty or responsibility as deemed necessary by the management staff of MPH.
QUALIFICATIONS: • Associates degree in Electronics or Equivalent experience. • Analog and Digital Electronics experience. • Strong verbal/interpersonal skills. • Excellent organizational skills. • Experience in troubleshooting/repair of microprocessors and semiconductors.
